Authentically beautiful
Window handles should move, open and close. But form, beauty and ornamentation have also always played a role. We offer a comprehensive selection of different styles such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Bauhaus style and Historicism - cast from brass and as beautiful and authentic as they used to be.
These window olives are individually manufactured in a small brass foundry according to our original historical models. In this case, individually manufactured means that a mould is created from moulding sand for each window olive using a historical model. The Brass Window Handles are cast using this ancient casting process with a so-called lost mould. They are then polished, patinated, matt or shiny nickel-plated.
In technical jargon, Window handles are referred to as window olives and window half olives. We use the term Window Handles Cross-shaped for models with a double-sided crossed handle lever and the term Window Handle for models with a single-sided handle lever. Due to the better leverage effect, we recommend the use of Window handles for larger windows or French doors.
