The word Panels simply means panel, which is why this type of wall panelling is also referred to as panelling. In historical buildings, this was usually wood panelling.

Our large-format panel tiles are modelled on the old wood panelling. But even more than that:

Panel tiles are traditionally used in wet rooms and stairwells due to their robust and moisture-resistant surface. They are also extremely easy to clean.
