Historic Roof Windows and Roof Hatches

Iron roof windows and roof hatches with contemporary thermal insulation based on historical models

Roof windows with glazing bar division - for historic and listed houses

Roof windows are now standard in new builds and have become indispensable. However, even a hundred years ago, there were not only dormer windows, but also rather small roof hatches or larger studio windows.

Commercial roof windows are usually not very stylish for historic buildings. As original antique roof windows are virtually unavailable on the market and also no longer fulfil today's thermal insulation requirements, we offer faithful reproductions and replicas of historic roof windows in the interests of monument protection.

Our windows meet modern insulation standards and contribute to living comfort. Windows with glazing bars blend harmoniously and in keeping with the style of historic roofscapes. They are particularly suitable for listed buildings.

The roof windows are designed with high-performance glazing K1.0
All metal parts are sandblasted, galvanised and powder-coated, The windows are mounted on a fixed flush-mounted mounting plate and fitted with maintenance-free putty. They have stainless steel hinges.

The windows are suitable for almost all common roof coverings (S-tiles, thatch, slate, plain tiles, interlocking tiles, etc.) and roof pitches from 26°. Opening and ventilation is possible in several positions by means of an opening latch. Some models are also available as motorised designs.
