The colour blue is generally said to have a calming effect. Blue is not so common in nature. It is rather light moods that we perceive as blue, as calming and relaxing.
This is why blue is often used in environments where a relaxed atmosphere is desired, such as in bedrooms or wellness areas. Light blue visually expands rooms and creates a calm, clear atmosphere. Dark shades of blue have an intense depth of colour and allow furniture with warm wood colours or even the floorboards or parquet flooring to stand out visually in contrast.
In large rooms, only one wall is often painted with an intense colour. With the matching light and brighter shades, the colourful wall then stands out particularly well.

Chalk Paints with their characteristic matt finish give your rooms a very special depth effect. The colour has a high chalk and pigment content. This creates a velvety, powdery matt surface and a great depth of colour. Unlike any other colour, Chalk Paint creates a warm room atmosphere.
