These door fittings are manufactured in a small foundry using the traditional handcrafted sand casting process. They are recasts based on original historical models from our in-house model collection.
The lever handles, long plates and rosettes are made of solid brass. Not only is the shape authentic, but the noticeably heavy quality of the fittings is in no way inferior to the old original historical fittings. And the fittings acquire a patina over time as if by themselves! WC set
This door set with turn lock is a reproduction from historical times, which is often used in public areas or even in private bathrooms or guest WCs. The inlaid enamel rotary disc with free/occupied indicator is operated with a small rotary bolt on the inside.Our WC door fittings are made of solid cast brass, an alloy of copper and zinc. They are manufactured in our foundry using the traditional artisanal sand casting process.

The distance of 78 mm applies to WC sets in Germany. Unfortunately, it is not possible to manufacture the set with a different dimension. Spindle
The spindle thickness of the lever handle and bathroom lock is 8 mm. The spindle of the bathroom lock has a slot at the front so that the door can be opened from the outside with a screwdriver or similar object in the event of an emergency.The length of the spindle is designed for a standard door thickness of +/- 40 mm. If your door thickness differs significantly, please let us know when ordering.
Turntable
The rotating enamel disc (diameter 48 mm) has a free/occupied indicator. We have these produced in a small enamelling plant. An inscription in another language is possible as a special design.Turn bolt

This door fitting is available in three finishes:- Brass polished, unlacquered - gold-coloured - will darken, become slightly duller and more irregular
- High-gloss nickel-plated - shiny silver-coloured - may become slightly darker
- Brushed, matt nickel-plated - matt silver-coloured with a light brushed texture - may become slightly darker

Care instructions
Brass is alive! We always deliver brass fittings unlacquered. The surface will darken slightly, becoming more irregular and more vibrant in colour. The door fitting develops its own patina and approaches the appearance of original historical fittings. If you wish, you can polish the fitting from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose.
Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. They should only be cleaned with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Assembly instructions
Mounting is not very complicated: The door plates are put on, the square spindles are inserted through the openings in the lock, the lever handles are mounted on both sides using a grub screw on the spindle (if the spindle is too long, it can easily be shortened to your door thickness using a hacksaw). The door plates are aligned and mounted on the door leaf using the wood screws.All installation work should be carried out and checked by a specialist or under their direction and supervision. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
