Rotary bell / corridor bell
This purely mechanical rotary doorbell does not require any power supply. The doorbell consists of a rotary rose, which is fitted on the outside of the door, and a bell for the inside. The two elements are connected by a spindle.
Triggered by a small rotary movement, the rotary clapper inside the bell strikes the sound bowl and makes it ring. The characteristic "ring-e-ling" sound, similar to the sound of a bicycle bell, is easy to hear in a detached house or flat.

Materials and technology
The bell rosette is made of solid, unlacquered brass. It is manufactured according to our original design in a small brass foundry using the sand casting process. The rotary knob is firmly attached to the rose and can be turned.
The bell on the back is made of nickel-plated sheet iron. The bell's sound bowl can be easily unscrewed. The wheel mechanism that brings the clapper to the stop is visible underneath. The connecting square iron pin has a length of 100 mm. It is mounted on the rotary toggle with a grub screw and guided in a recess on the back of the bell. The spindle must be shortened on site to suit your door thickness. Surface finishes

Care instructions
Brass is alive! The brass doorbell rosette in the unlacquered brass design will darken slightly and become more irregular and vibrant in colour. It will develop its own patina and take on an almost authentic appearance. If you wish, you can polish the doorbell from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose. Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. Just like painted or patinated surfaces, they should only be cleaned with a mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Installation instructions
Drill a 4 mm hole through your door. Make sure that the drill hole is designed straight. Use an Allen key to mount the spindle to the turn rose, insert the bell rose on the outside of the door through the hole and screw it in place. Unscrew the bell's bell cup. The bell base is placed on the protruding spindle on the inside of the door. Now you can measure the distance by which the pin may need to be shortened with a hacksaw. If the length is correct, the bell base is put back on and screwed tight, and the chime bowl is screwed back on.
All mounting work must be carried out by a specialist. we accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
