General product information
- The nostalgic taps in the MONTMARTRE series are manufactured in a small factory in France. These are high quality taps, for which the manufacturer HORUS gives a 5-year guarantee (except for wearing parts). All taps can be dismantled into individual parts and spare parts are still available even after a long time.

Valves and spare parts
All internal valves are fitted with a wear-resistant ceramic seal that reliably regulates the water flow. These are of course still available as spare parts even after a lengthy service life. The tap can be completely dismantled into its individual parts, meaning that every component can be replaced. Individual components can also be reordered as spare parts. Simply enquire if required! Manufacture
Our fittings are made of solid brass, which is moulded into individual components in various machining processes. After moulding, each component is sanded by hand to obtain an even, slightly rough surface as a base for the subsequent final coating.Surfaces
This fitting is available in 4 different surface finishes as standard, offering the right finish for almost every installation situation and every taste.- Chrome - high-gloss, cool silver colour
- Nickel - high-gloss, warm silver colour
- Nickel - matt, rather darker silver colour
- Brass - patinated, slightly brownish and rather irregular brass colour
- Brass - dark patinated
Handle designs
The MONTMARTRE tap series is modelled on the Art Nouveau period: The twist handles are designed as drop-shaped cross handles with a porcelain lens. Alternatively, the mixer taps are also available with sweeping, elongated lever handles.

Cleaning and care
Water contains limescale and other mineral components that can settle on the tap once the water has evaporated. Residues from various items such as toothpaste, body care products and cosmetics, as well as fruit and vegetable acids and wine, can also attack the coating. Therefore, rinse the mixer taps with clear water after each use.In order to maintain the high-quality surface of the mixer taps in the long term, careful daily cleaning is recommended. Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Chlorine and bleaching agents, acids, ammonia and soda attack the surfaces and should not be used. Abrasive cleaning equipment, scouring powder and disinfectants should also be avoided.
The best cleaning agents are soap and water and a soft cloth. Be careful in areas with very hard water! Here, the alkaline components of the soap can combine with the limescale contained in the water to form so-called lime soaps, which are deposited as unsightly rims in the washbasin and on the fittings and are difficult to clean. In this case, use mild cleaning agents that are suitable for use on taps, e.g. the care product DECAL (HORUS). It protects the fittings from mineral residues and can be used as required.
Please note that damage caused by improper treatment or care cannot be recognised as a complaint.
Mounting
All work on the water installation should be carried out and checked by a specialist or under their direction and supervision. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper installation.
