Pull handle WILHEMINIAN STYLE

Pull handles, depending on the purpose of use also called push handles or swing door handle, unlike door handles, do not have a connection to the door lock. They are merely screwed onto the door leaf.

Shape and utilisation

Pull handles are found mostly on swing doors that can be opened in both directions and swing through. The handle is a functional and a design element at the same time. For large, glass doors a curved quarter-circle handle provides additional protection for the door.

Pull handles can also be used for sliding doors, which are guided before the wall. The guide rail should have a stopper device, so that the handle does not strike the frame.

With old entrance doors pull handles are often mounted horizontally on the middle frieze. The handle serves as pull or push handle, if only a lock cylinder is inserted in the lock area.

Materials and surfaces

Our pull handles are replicas of original models. They are available in 3 different finishes:

• polished brass, non lacquered – gold-coloured – going to get darker, become more irregular and dull
• brass, shiny nickel-plated – shiny silver-coloured – may get a little darker
• brushed brass, satin nickel-plated – dim silver-coloured with slight brushed effect- may get a little darker

Lead time

We only have small quantities of these pull handles in stock. For order related production we anticipate a lead time of 8 weeks.

We ship with DPD as insured package, delivery costs Germany 6,80 € (+ possibly island surcharge), EU shipping: 17 €, non EU-countries: shipping costs on request.

Mounting instructions

Mounting of pull handles is effortless: They are simply screwed onto the door leaf. Suitable screws are included in the delivery.

Mounting must only be carried out by a qualified specialist. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect mounting.

Care instructions

Brass lives! We always deliver brass fittings non lacquered. The surface is going to get darker, become more irregular and the colouration is going to become livelier. The door fitting will develop its own patina and converge to the look and feel of original historic fittings. If desired you may refurbish the mount. We recommend the polishing wool “Nevr Dull”®. Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acid. They should be cleaned only with mild detergents and a soft cloth.
