General product information

These window fittings can often be found in French country houses and are still manufactured in Limoges, a small French town in the north-west of the Massif Central. Limoges became famous above all for its porcelain production. The area around the town has a high kaolin deposit, which is the main ingredient in porcelain production.
The first porcelain factories were established in 1771 and more than half of French porcelain still comes from Limoges today. The French court was also supplied with Limoges porcelain until well into the 19th century.

Material and surface
Porcelain is sometimes referred to as "white gold". Porcelain is a material of particularly high strength. It has a radiant shine and the surface appears slightly transparent. The brass parts of the window handle are turned from solid material and then milled, polished and, if necessary, shiny nickel-plated.
Surface variants
The window handles or window handles are all available in different designs:- Porcelain handle white or black
- Brass parts polished, unlacquered or shiny nickel-plated
Suitability
The window handles can be used for today's tilt and turn casement windows without any problems. However, they do not have a locking mechanism, i.e. they do not engage audibly or perceptibly at 90° or 180°. Using a window handle without latching is merely a matter of habit and not an absolute necessity. The distance between the drill holes corresponds to the standard of 43 mm that is common in Germany and Europe.
Mounting and care

Installation instructions
The mounting of window handles or window handles is straightforward: The olive is inserted into the square hole provided and the rose is mounted with the screws. If the spindle is too long, it can simply be shortened. All installation work should be carried out by a specialist. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
Cleaning and care
Porcelain is resistant to acids and alkalis and is therefore insensitive and does not require any special cleaning.Unlacquered brass surfaces will darken slightly over time, becoming more irregular and more vibrant in colour. If you wish, you can polish the fitting from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose.
Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. They should only be cleaned with a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
