Wall tile MANHATTAN

The tile series MANHATTAN is inspired by the style of the American art deco from the period of the 30's.

ArtDeco - this stands for glamour and extravagance, but also for rectilinearity and elegance. In interior design clear shapes dominate, ornamentation retreats in favour of the surface effect of the material. The material itself becomes a design element. With MANHATTAN tiles it is possible to design monochrome wall areas clearly and subtly structured.

Matt glaze

Tiles with matt glaze have a restrained and yet three-dimensional effect. They leave much room for the floor design and harmonize with a wide variety of other materials or furnishings.

Matt tiles have the undeniable advantage that water stains are not easily apparent.

Dimensions

The basic tiles are available in three different dimensions, which can be combined freely with each other:

• square tile 15 x 15 cm
• half a tile 15 x 7,5 cm
• elongated half a tile 22,5 x 7,5 cm

Matching base tiles as well as narrow border tiles are optional for the upper or lower ending.

With the elongated half a tile, offset laying is an option. With this laying method the tiled wall can be structured in their own way.

Suitability

These glazed stoneware tiles can be used everywhere indoors and also unproblematically in wet areas. Use in roofed outdoor areas is only recommended on certain conditions as the tiles are not frost-resistant when wet.

Lead time

The MANHATTAN tiles usually have a lead time of approx. 3 weeks.

Packaging and delivery

The tiles are usually packed in accordance with the specified packaging unit in cartons and delivered on pallet. Tiles can only be transported safely with a forwarding agency. We would be pleased to provide you with an offer for delivery on your construction site. Transport cost depends on weight and distance. To prepare the offer we need to know the amount of tiles you plan to buy and your postcode. Small quantities may be shipped with a parcel service. The risk of breaking will then pass to you. Laying

All tiling work must only be carried out by a qualified specialist who knows the specific characteristic of this material. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect workmanship.

The tiles can be laid with a standard tile adhesive. We recommend a joint width of 2mm. The smaller the joint, the more beautiful the overall effect of the floor. Use a neutral coloured grout, that does not interfere with the overall appearance.

Cleaning and care

A glaze is a coat made of glass. Glazes are not resistant to scratches or acid-proof. Please do not use abrassive tools like steel sponges or scrapers for cleaning the tiles. We recommend ph-neutral cleaners to alkaline cleaners.
