Ornamented frosted glass motif 626

Sand-blasted glasses with ornaments are often used as an elegant decorative element for interior doors or flat entrance doors. Also entrance doors, stairway windows or furniture items can be designed with these glasses.

The patterns are a selection according to original artwork from the Historicism period and Art Nouveau. The ornaments are applied with a stencil, the panes are frosted with a special method of sand-blasting.

Variants of the pattern

The patterns can be applied in three different versions:

• pattern sand-blasted / background transparent - this variant gives the glass a delicate appearance - the glass remains translucent and transparent
• pattern transparent / background sand-blasted - this variant makes the glass seem more closed - the glass is less translucent and less see through
• pattern sand-blasted / background frosted - this variant makes the glass seem closed - the glass is even less translucent and not transparent

Variants of the glass

We offer our ornamented glasses in the following variants:

• Single pane safety glass (ESG 4 mm ) €€“ a thermally toughened glass that has a higher stability; it breaks into small, relatively harmless blunt glass fragments (€€œdicing,€€) similar to car windows, and thus reduces the likelihood of injury. The glass cannot be cut or worked on later. Deviating thicknesses on request.
• Laminated safety glass (VSG 6 mm) €€“ this glass is made of 2 glass panes that are bonded to one another with a highly elastic, tear-resistant film. Advantages: It does not burst upon breaking (required by law for overhead glazing) and it prevents burglaries.
• Multi pane insulated glass (MIG 24mm) €€“ These are double glazed panes with a gas fill between the layers of glass and a U-factor of 1.1 according to DIN EN 673. Glass construction: 4mm Floatglass/16mm air space/4mm floatglass. Deviating thicknesses on request.

Special designs

The glasses can also be produced in other shapes (e.g. with segmented arches or cut-outs on the corners). Therefore we would need an exact scale drawing as well as a stencil of the glass pane at a scale 1:1.

We also offer reproduction of your own motifs/ornaments. Therefore we would need a high-resolution photo and - if there is one - a bigger glass fragment.

Details required on ordering

The glasses are produced order related according to your indications. The pattern gets adjusted proportionately to your glass size. In order to start production we need to know the following details:

• Glass size - exact size in mm
• clear dimension - size of the glass that is not covered by the window frame or door frame
• Variant of the pattern (see specific product information)
• Variants of the glass (see specific product information)

Please note: Please consider a distance of 1-2mm to the frame on all sides when providing the glass dimensions. When ordering Iso-glass, please indicate if the blasted side should be inward or outward.

Packaging and delivery

Delivery is made in made to measure wooden crates. Glass can only be transported safely with a forwarding agency. Shipping costs are already included in our price offer, unless stated otherwise.

Delivery time

The lead time for glasses that are produced order related is usually 3 weeks after all details have been clarified.

Mounting

The frosted side of the glass is the more eye-catching side. One could also call it the "front side". This side is usually inserted facing outward.

Care instructions

Due to the production method the frosted side of the muslin glass has a roughened surface. Please do not use glass cleaner. Clean with diluted spirit and a soft microfiber cloth. You can also achieve good cleaning results with flour or fine sawdust.
