General product information
Sand-blasted glass borders and corner pieces, also called "frieze stripe" and "frieze corner", are found in historical windows and doors with special row pitch. They are commonly seen in staircases from the turn of the century. They are often used in combination with muslin glass.

Variants of the pattern
The patterns can be applied in two different versions:
- pattern sand-blasted / background transparent
- pattern transparent / background sand-blasted
Variants of the glass
The sand-blasted borders and corner pieces are delivered as floatglass 4mm as standard.
If desired we also offer these as ESG (single pane safety glass) or insulated glass. Please send us an enquiry.
Glass sizes
The glass corners can be ordered in sizes 10x10 cm to 14x14 cm. They are custom made according to your indications.
Please consider a distance of 1-2mm to the frame on all sides when providing the glass dimensions.

Instructions for mounting and care
Mounting
The frosted side of the glass is the more eye-catching side. One could also call it the "front side". This side is usually inserted facing outward.
Care instructions
Due to the production method the frosted side of the glass has a roughened surface. Please do not use glass cleaner. Clean with diluted spirit and a soft microfiber cloth. You can also achieve good cleaning results with flour or fine sawdust.
