Outdoor Lamp SIENA

Cast brass is still part of everyday tradition in Italy. This small, seemingly maritime outdoor lamp is produced in an Italian foundry. Simple, unobtrusive and yet of a certain elegance, this lamp is particularly suitable for balconies, terraces or entrance areas where wall lights with only small projection are wanted.

Material and surface

To this day brass is used in many ways especially in the shipping sector. Brass is considered to be especially robust and resistant to weather. Nevertheless, the surface of uncoated brass will change over time: The lamp will get darker and duller and form a natural patina. The thick-walled screw cylinder that protects the bulb is made of clear cast glass.

Illuminants

The lamp has an E27 socket for conventional bulbs. It can be equipped with energy-saving bulbs or LED bulbs. The bulb is not included in the delivery.

Protection class

This lamp meets the IP43 protection class - Protection against ingress of foreign bodies larger than 1 mm / protection against splashing water i.e. water falling as a spray at any angle up to 60° from the vertical shall have no harmful effect.

Lead time

We usually have small quantities of this lamp in stock. Please calculate a lead time of approx. 6 weeks for larger orders.

Replacing the bulb

Replacing the light bulb is very simple: The glass cylinder can easily be unscrewed together with the brass grid and be screwed back on after the exchange.

Please note that all installation work must be carried out by a qualified specialist. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect mounting.

Maintenance and care

If you want to preserve the patina that will arise over time, all you need to do is clean the lamp with a damp cloth from time to time. If desired you may refurbish the mount. We recommend the polishing wool €€œNevr Dull€€®.
