Pull handle LEAFSHAPED

Pull handles, depending on the purpose of use also called push handles or swing door handle, unlike door handles, do not have a connection to the door lock. They are merely screwed onto the door leaf.

Shape and utilisation

Pull handles are found mostly on swing doors that can be opened in both directions and swing through. The handle is a functional and a design element at the same time. For large, glass doors a curved quarter-circle handle provides additional protection for the door.

Pull handles can also be used for sliding doors, which are guided before the wall. The guide rail should have a stopper device, so that the handle does not strike the frame.

With old entrance doors pull handles are often mounted horizontally on the middle frieze. The handle serves as pull or push handle, if only a lock cylinder is inserted in the lock area.

Material and surface

This pull handle is manufactured individually by hand in a small forge. It exhibits the typical processing traces from hand-forged iron. The handle is painted with micaceous iron oxide, which comes very close to the appearance of the raw material. However, this does not provide complete rust protection.

We usually have small quantities of this pull handle in stock. For larger order quantities please anticipate a lead time of 8 weeks.

Mounting instructions

Mounting of pull handles is effortless: They are simply screwed onto the door leaf. Suitable screws are included in the delivery.

Mounting must only be carried out by a qualified specialist. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect mounting.
