General product information
The coloured glass corners, also called frieze corners, are a colourful relic from the time around the turn of the century. They are primarily used in doors and windows with row pitch, where they brightly emphasize the corners. They are frequently used in combination with sand-blasted borders or muslin glasses.
The coloured glass pieces are made with high quality flashed glass, i.e. a carrier glass was flashed with one or several layers of coloured glass. The ornament is ground out of the coloured layer by hand. It appears transparent and recessed in the bright coloured foreground. Thus fascinating colour- and light effects emerge.

Colours
The coloured glass pieces are available in the classic colourways red and blue as well as green or yellow.
Glass sizes
The glass pieces can be ordered in sizes 10x10cm to 14x14 cm (special sizes on request). They are custom made according to your indications.
Please note: Please consider 1-2mm distance around the frame upon measuring the glass size.
Glass-specific particularities
Due to the production process the glasses may exhibit small irregularities and colour deviations: differing glass thickness, small air pockets or surface markings make up the characteristic appeal of the glass corners.
The grinding of the ornament is made by hand. Slight variances attest to the specific handwritting of our glass grinder.
Special designs
The coloured glass pieces can also be made according to your specifications. We are happy to provide you with an individual offer.
