General product information
Ceramic wall panelling
A panel in the original sense is a sheet for wall and ceiling covering. Wall panelling was commonly found in castels and mansions in the past. It's main purpose was to protect walls in hallways and bathrooms, but it was also a decorative element.
Wall panelling was mostly made with wood or natural stone. These were replaced more and more by the progression of tile production. With our ceramic panel tiles this type of wall panelling is experiencing a renaissance. Especially in bathrooms it is possible to create walls with a special atmosphere, without having to give up the undisputed advantages of ceramic.
Specific product information
The vertically laid panel tiles size 35 x 102 cm form the core of wall panelling. A bordertile in matching colour serves as top end. The lower end is laid with matching socket tiles size 15 x 30 cm.
The panel tiles and the completary border tiles and socket tiles are available with opaque glaze and also with glossy glaze with craquelé structure, both in 6 different colours.

The tiles are ordered directly in Italy. The lead time is approx. 3 weeks
Packaging and delivery
Tiles can only be transported safely with a forwarding agency. We would be pleased to provide you with an offer for delivery on your construction site. Transport cost depends on weight and distance. Instructions for mounting and care
Tips for laying
For laying we recommend a flexible adhessive according to DIN EN 12004 class C2T. The joints should be at least 2mm wide. We recommend to use a neutral colour for the joints. When using heavily pigmented grout and the tiles have a strong craquelé it is possible that colour pigments settle in the craquelé. The effect should be tested on a trial tile before the jointing. In order to avoid the absorption, it is advisable to impregnate the tiles with FILA MP/90 before jointing. To achieve a good final result it is advisable to also impregnate the joints.
Laying should get carried out by a qualified specialist who is familiar with the specific materials properties. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect installation.
Impregnation/Sealing
Impregnation is only necessary for craquelé tiles. It is advisable to impregnate them before grouting, e.g. with FILA MP/90.
Before the impregnation process the tiles must be clean, so the impregnation can settle in unhindered. Please ensure that the tiles are absolutely dry. Use a small, wide container for the impregnation product. Please make sure that the roller or brush is completely soaked with the impregnation product. Apply the impregantion evenly on the tile surface. It is important to apply the impregnation from top to bottom, to avoid drip off. With this working method, it is easy to determine if you have treated the whole surface. If necessary you can make corrections. The residence time is 10 minutes. Use an absorbent cloth to remove excess product from the tiles. Please ascertain, that no residues remain on the surface!
