These window handles or window catches are reproductions of models from different stylistic eras. They are manufactured in Germany using permant mould casting technique.

Available finishes
These window catches are available in 3 different surface finishes:
- polished brass, non lacquered – gold-coloured - going to get darker, become more irregular and dull
- brass, shiny nickel-plated - shiny silver-coloured - may get a little darker
- brushed, satin nickel-plated – dim silver-coloured with slight brushed effect- may get a little darker
Distance dimension
The distance between the drill holes complies with the European and German standard that is 43mm.
Square spindle
The window handles come with a 7x7mm square spindle. The protruding length is 35mm. Other lengths on request.
Screws
In general the window handles are delivered with metric screws M5x35mm. Kindly let us know, if you wish to receive wood screws.

Instructions for mounting and care
Mounting instructions
The mounting of window catches or handles is effortless: The handle is put into the square hole; the rose is fastened with the screws. If the square spindle is too long, it can easily be cut to size.
Mounting must only be carried out by a qualified specialist. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect mounting.
Care instructions
Brass lives! We always deliver brass fittings non lacquered. The surface is going to get darker, become more irregular and the colouration is going to be livelier. The window fitting will form a patina and converge to the look and feel of original historic fittings. If desired you may clean the mount. We recommend the polishing wool “Nevr Dull‮. Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acid. They should be cleaned only with mild detergents and a soft cloth.
