Retro Porcelain - Rotary switch - colourful and versatile

Porcelain, an aesthetically and haptically pleasing material, used to be an important material in electrical engineering. We are reviving the beautiful old porcelain switches! With the GARBY surface-mounted system, the installation itself becomes a design element.
The choice is yours! The switches in the GARBY series come in a wide variety of porcelain body colours and rotary knob designs. If you love the retro design of the 1950s, then the switches in pastel colours offer a special eye-catcher in your living room design.

All switches are available as two-way-switches, intermediate switches and blind switches.
They comply with the standards required in Germany and fulfil the strict safety regulations of the VDE (manufacturer FONTINI /Spain).

The switches in the GARBY series are available with and without Cable inlet.

The use of wooden base plates is recommended for surface-mounted installation

. The base plates have cut-outs with plastic sockets onto which the conduits are plugged. Multiple base plates are available in vertical and horizontal designs. Plastic fire protection plates are already inserted into the wooden base plates.

Flush-mounted installation is also possible

. It is important to note that the switches and sockets cannot be placed on standard flush-mounted sockets. The Diameter is too small for this. With existing standard installations, however, you can combine the switches and Sockets with special wooden base plates for flush-mounted installation or place them on cover frames with mounting plates provided for this purpose.

Mounting without base plates or frames is easy to realise with a pre-wall installation. If you have not yet installed a standard socket, you can use smaller special flush-mounted sockets and mount switches and Sockets directly on the wall.
