Brass Window Handles
Window handle foils in a wide range of styles - with and without louvre rosette
Beautiful brass handles for windows - not just for old buildings
Window handles in the style of earlier decades are simply timelessly beautiful. They may only be a small building detail, but with Brass Window Handles you can bring a touch of elegance to your living space.
Depending on your style and sense of style, you have the choice:
Do you want the Window Handles to be soft, simple and unadorned? Or do you have a preference for clear lines with a reduced design language like in the Bauhaus era? Or do you live in a house from the Wilhelminian style, where small ornaments at the ends of the handle were also a style-defining feature of Window Fittings?
All Window handles are available with different Base Plates. These are also known as Escutcheons in the trade. The standard Escutcheons are available as curved sash escutcheons or as straight rectangular escutcheons. These can also be fitted to modern bottom-hung casement windows without any problems. The drill holes are standardised to 43 mm spacing, for metric M5 screws.
We also offer all Window handles with louvre rosettes as an alternative, i.e. the window handles engage audibly and tactilely at 90° or 180°.
Louvre escutcheons are available as Escutcheons for the rear recessing of the latch mechanism in the timber plane of the window frame. A corresponding hole is required for this. If this is not possible, choose louvre roses with a surface-mounted louvre mechanism.
The Window handles also have a completely different appearance due to the respective surface finish. Whether you opt for brass-coloured, nickel-plated or dark surfaces is also a question of your personal taste and sense of style!
