General product information
-
The MANHATTAN tile series is based on the American Art Deco style from the 1930s.
Art Deco stands for glamour and extravagance, but also for straightforwardness and elegance. Clear forms dominate the interior design, with ornamentation taking a back seat in favour of the surface effect of the material. The material itself thus becomes a design element. With MANHATTAN tiles, monochrome wall surfaces can be clearly and discreetly structured.

Matt glaze
Tiles with a matt glaze have a restrained yet three-dimensional effect. They leave plenty of scope for floor design and harmonise with a wide variety of other materials or furnishings. In splashback areas, matt tiles have the undeniable advantage that water stains are less obvious.
Formats
The base tiles are available in three different formats, which can be freely combined with each other:- Square tile 15 x 15 cm
- Half-format tile 15 x 7.5 cm
- Long half-format tile 22.5 x 7.5 cm
The elongated half tile can be laid in a 2/3 pattern, allowing the tiled wall to be structured in its own unique way.
Suitability
The glazed stoneware wall tiles are suitable for all indoor areas and can be used in wet areas without any problems. Use in covered outdoor areas is only recommended to a limited extent, as they are not frost-resistant when exposed to moisture.
Mounting and care

Laying
All installation work must be carried out by a tiler who is familiar with the specific material properties. We accept no liability for improper processing. The tiles can be laid using standard tile adhesive. A joint width of 2 mm is recommended. The narrower the joint, the more attractive the overall effect of the surface. Choose a joint colour that is as neutral as possible so as not to detract from the overall appearance of the surface. Cleaning and care
A glaze is a coating of glass. Glazes are not scratch or acid resistant. When cleaning, please do not use scratching objects such as steel sponges or scrapers. We recommend PH-neutral to alkaline cleaners for cleaning.
