General product information

An outdoor light is not just a light, but always a design element of the entrance area or house façade.
Classic traditional lights have their very own charm and character. It is hard to imagine old town centres and buildings in a rural architectural style without them. Our French luminaire ranges are modelled on original models and are still produced in France.

Material and surfaces
The base material of these luminaires is either brass or zinc, depending on the surface finish. The luminaires are individually manufactured in a small manufactory using traditional methods. Each luminaire is unique, so to speak, and may vary slightly in terms of design and surface. The luminaires are surface-treated and patinated or painted after production. This gives them their own authentic look.We offer the luminaire in various surface finishes:
- Zinc - grey-blue patinated, aged (zinc patina)
- Brass - dark patinated without lacquer (old brass)
- Brass - light patinated with clear lacquer firniss (brass patina)
- Brass - grey-green patinated (verdigris patina)
- Brass - rust-coloured patinated (rust patina)
Light source
This outdoor light has an E27 socket for normal light bulbs. It can of course also be fitted with energy-saving lamps or LED lamps. The light source is not included in the scope of delivery. This luminaire is suitable for light sources in energy classes A++ to E.
The light source can be easily replaced by removing the attached roof (additionally mounted with brass screw balls on some models).
Protection class
This luminaire has protection class IP 23 - protected against rain - the luminaire body is not closed at the bottom.
Mounting and care

Mounting
A mounting bracket is attached to the back of the luminaire so that it can be hung on a protruding hook, screw or nail. Two screw holes are provided in the lower part of the rear panel for additional fixing. A spacer attached to the back allows the luminaire to be mounted at a small distance of approx. 1 cm in front of the wall, so that it appears to float slightly in front of the wall. Installation instructions
We would like to point out that all installation work on electrical installations must be carried out by a specialist. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
