These door fittings are manufactured in a small foundry using the traditional handcrafted sand casting process. They are recasts based on original historical models from our in-house model collection.
The lever handles, long plates and rosettes are made of solid brass. Not only is the shape authentic, but the noticeably heavy quality of the fittings is in no way inferior to the old original historical fittings. And the fittings acquire a patina over time as if by themselves!

Distances
Room door sets are supplied with coloured perforation (abbreviation: BB) for mortise locks as standard. For Germany, the standardised distance of 72 mm from the centre of the lever handle to the centre of the key spindle applies. Different dimensions may apply for old locks Spindle thicknesses

The sets can also be manufactured as WC sets. For this purpose, we have provided a stylistically matching turn bolt for the inside plate. A movable hanging tab or slotted screw is attached to the outer plate so that the door can be opened from the outside in an emergency.
The distance for WC sets is 78 mm, other countries may vary.Customised products
To complement existing fittings, you can order pairs of lever handles, escutcheons and rosettes for this set separately. Please note the thickness of the collar diameter of the lever handle. Special perforations such as round cylinder or euro profile cylinder perforations are possible, provided the backplate width or rosette width is sufficient.
We will be happy to provide you with a customised quote for a special reproduction of your own door set. To prepare a quotation, we first need a photo from you with approximate dimensions, and then the model as a casting template for recasting. We would like to point out that recasts may differ in size from the original by 2-3% due to casting shrinkage, i.e. they will be slightly smaller.Scope of delivery

- 1 pair of door handles
- 2 door plates or 2 handle rosettes and 2 key escutcheons
- 1 spindle 8 mm / 100 mm length
- Wood screws (pan head screws) for mounting the plates or roses
Surface variants
This door fitting is available in three finishes:- Brass polished, unlacquered - gold-coloured - will darken, become slightly duller and more irregular
- High-gloss nickel-plated - shiny silver-coloured - may become slightly darker
- Brushed, matt nickel-plated - matt silver-coloured with a light brushed texture - may become slightly darker

Care instructions
Brass is alive! We always deliver brass fittings unlacquered. The surface will darken slightly, becoming more irregular and more vibrant in colour. The door fitting develops its own patina and approaches the appearance of original historical fittings. If you wish, you can polish the fitting from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose.
Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. They should only be cleaned with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Installation instructions
Mounting room door sets requires little effort: Door plates or handle rosettes are fitted, the spindle is inserted through the lock follower, the door handles are mounted on both sides of the spindle using a grub screw (if the spindle is too lengthy, it can easily be shortened to your door thickness using a hacksaw). Door plates or roses are aligned and mounted on the door leaf using the wood screws.All installation work should be carried out by a specialist. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
