Decorative nostalgic cast iron radiators should not be adorned with modern radiator valves. Patinated or chrome-plated brass valves are the stylistically appropriate alternative.
This valve set is a manual control valve that is used to manually regulate the water flow and thus the room temperature.
The valve is available as an angle valve and a straight-through valve:
The angle valve directs the water at a 90° angle from the radiator to the heating system. This allows the connection to be made from below or directly from the wall.
With the straight-through valve, the water flows in the same direction when it enters as when it leaves.
