General product information
-
Cast iron radiators, also known as cast iron radiators or sectional radiators, emit a large proportion of the heat through radiation - a heat that is perceived as cosy and pleasant. Cast iron radiators store heat for much longer than today's conventional sheet steel radiators. They are particularly resistant to corrosion and have a long service life.
But above all, nostalgic radiators with their unique feel and decorative ornamentation are simply a beautiful eye-catcher: they create atmosphere and give every room a special touch. Our models are exact replicas from the years around 1890-1930, a turbulent time that was also reflected stylistically in their wide variety of shapes.

Construction method / pipe connections
The radiators are made up of individual sections. These are manufactured in an iron foundry using the sand casting process and then assembled into finished blocks in a customised element construction method. The length of the radiator is determined by the number of sections used. The individual sections are connected using nipples with left-hand and right-hand threads. Please note that the total length may vary slightly. It is recommended that the pipework is not laid until the radiator is on site at your construction site.Cast iron radiators can be easily connected to standard, modern heating systems. No special technology is required, neither for hot water generation nor for the pipework connection. Most models can be connected on both sides and alternating sides.
Origin and testing
Our cast iron radiators are exclusively of European origin. The heat output is tested in accordance with European standard EN 442 and the radiators are tested for leaks in pressurised chambers before delivery.Heating capacity
The size of the radiator says only a limited amount about its performance. The wattage is decisive for the heat output of a radiator. The respective watt specifications refer to a heating system with a flow temperature of 75 °C and a return temperature of 65 °C (analogue EN 442).The calculation of the heating load in your rooms always depends on several factors and should be carried out by a specialist company.
Accessories
We also offer matching valve sets in a solid brass design. Manual control valves are used to set the desired room temperature and are operated manually. The thermostatic valve has an integrated thermostat that automatically regulates the heat output.

Installation instructions
The radiator is delivered by a forwarding agent in a specially built transport crate or on a pallet. Please be sure to observe the following instructions:- First, please remove the transport locks.
- Carry the radiator in the crate or on the pallet to the installation site.
- Remove the radiator upright and place it on its feet, do not carry it horizontally.
- Do not place the radiator on one side to avoid the risk of breakage or leakage.
