The oval brass doorplate is an elegant accessory in the style of the 1930s. It adds a touch of vintage charm and timeless elegance to any door. Ideal for style-conscious lovers of historical designs. The OVALE doorplate can be combined with various plainly shaped brass lever handles.

As standard, the door plate is supplied with a hole spacing of 72 mm for mortise locks commonly used in Germany. Other spacing dimensions are available on request.

The brass OVALE door plate is also available as a WC door plate with a round hole for the rotary bolt and a standardised spacing of 78 mm.

Notes on distances for door plates
Our room door plates are supplied with coloured perforation (abbreviation: BB) for mortise locks as standard. For Germany, the standardised distance of 72 mm from the centre of the lever handle to the centre of the key pin applies.
Different dimensions may occur with old locks, other standard dimensions apply in other countries. The plates can also be manufactured with a different distance or with euro profile perforation for an additional charge. Please specify this when ordering if necessary.
The distance of 78 mm applies to toilet plates in Germany.
Possible combinations
The lever handles have a collar diameter of 18 mm - the hole diameter of the door plates and handle rosettes is also 18 mm. They can therefore be combined with each other as required.

Notes on ordering
The lever handles are always supplied as a pair of lever handles, the door plates and roses must be ordered per piece:
- For a room door set with backplates, you need a pair of lever handles and two door plates.
- For a room door set with roses, you need a pair of lever handles as well as two handle rosettes and two key escutcheons.
- For a WC set with backplates, you need a pair of lever handles as well as two door plates (distance 78 mm) and also a WC bolt set.
- For a WC set with roses, you need a pair of lever handles as well as four handle rosettes and also a WC bolt set.

Surface finishes
These fittings are available in various surface finishes:
- Brass polished, unlacquered - gold-coloured - will darken, become slightly duller and more irregular
- Shiny nickel-plated - shiny silver-coloured - may become slightly darker
- Brushed, matt nickel-plated - matt silver-coloured with a light brushed texture - may become slightly darker
- dark patinated - brownish colouring - slightly irregular
- black matt - stove-enamelled
The wooden handle of some handle models is made of black ebony. They can also be supplied with other woods on request.
