The DOCO handle shell made of high-quality brass impresses with its simple design and gently rounded edges. Two fine, horizontal lines, inspired by Art Nouveau, create subtle, decorative accents. Whether for old building doors or modern rooms - the handle shell blends harmoniously into a wide variety of interior styles.
The recessed handle is screwed onto the door leaf using pan-head screws. For the recess itself, the wood must be milled to a depth of approx. 10 mm at the installation point. The sliding door shell is a stylish detail that is particularly durable and elegant thanks to the brass material.

In the past, sliding doors were often installed as room dividers to the dining area and were part of the prestigious living area. Accordingly, the door fitting was not just a functional detail, but also stylistically designed.

These fittings are available in various surface finishes:- polished brass, unlacquered - gold-coloured - will darken, become slightly duller and more irregular
- shiny nickel-plated - shiny silver-coloured - may become slightly darker
- brushed, matt nickel-plated - matt silver-coloured with a light brushed texture - may become slightly darker
- dark patinated - brownish colouring - slightly irregular
- black matt - stove-enamelled

Pan head screws with wood thread in the corresponding surface finish are supplied.

Care instructions
Brass is alive! We always deliver brass fittings unlacquered. The surface will darken slightly and become more irregular and lively in colour. The fitting develops its own patina and approaches the appearance of original historical fittings. If you wish, you can polish it again from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose. Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. They should only be cleaned with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Installation instructions
The sliding door shell is fitted precisely into the door leaf and mounted using only wood screws. Please note the required installation depth. We recommend that you only make the cut-out in your door once you have the sliding door shell. As this item is made by hand, slight dimensional deviations may occur.All installation work should be carried out by a specialist. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.
