The VENDOMES BM outdoor light with motion detector combines timeless design with innovative technology. This classic luminaire in a historic style provides stylish accents on your façade, while the integrated motion detector ensures unobtrusive and efficient security. The small decorative sphere at the bottom of the luminaire skilfully conceals the motion detector and positions it exactly where it is needed - without attracting attention.
Made of anodised, rust-free aluminium, the luminaire will withstand wind and weather for many years. The diffuser made of scratch and impact-resistant, clear polycarbonate guarantees uniform light distribution and effectively protects the light source from external influences.
The integrated motion detector comes from the renowned German manufacturer BEG and can be conveniently adjusted using the Luxomat IR-PD9 remote control supplied. Thanks to this modern control system, you can adjust the detection areas and light sensitivity to suit your requirements - without complicated wiring.
The classic VENDOMES BM outdoor light is available in various discreet colours such as black, anthracite and grey tones. You can also choose from a variety of colourful paint finishes to give the light a very personal touch.
The luminaire is equipped with an E27 socket that is suitable for both traditional light bulbs and modern, energy-saving LED lamps.

Classic traditional lights have their very own charm and character. It is hard to imagine old town centres and buildings in a rural architectural style without them. Our French luminaire ranges are modelled on original models and are still produced in France.

Light source
This outdoor light has an E27 socket for normal light bulbs. It can of course also be fitted with energy-saving lamps or LED lamps. The light source is not included in the scope of delivery.This luminaire is suitable for light sources of energy classes A++ to E.
Motion detector
The motion detector is skilfully and almost inconspicuously integrated into the decorative ball at the bottom of the luminaire. This means it is positioned exactly where it is needed and yet is barely noticeable.The motion detector is preset at the factory so that it switches on at dusk (from 20 lux) and is switched on for one minute. A mobile control unit is supplied, which can be used to change the factory settings and adapt them to your requirements.
Motion detectors are electronic components that are constantly in operation and are therefore subject to continuous wear and tear. That's why we only use high-quality, long-lasting motion detectors from the renowned German brand manufacturer BEG in our luminaires, which function reliably - a solution "made in Germany". Should a sensor fail after many years, a replacement can still be supplied.
Material and surface
This luminaire is made of high-quality anodised and painted aluminium. Anodising gives the luminaire a particularly hard and scratch-resistant seal and also protects it against corrosion.
We offer the luminaire in 15 different colour lacquering options. Some of the colours are defined RAL shades. If you are unsure about your choice, we can provide you with colour cards on loan.Protection class

Cleaning and care
Painted surfaces can be easily cleaned with a gentle household cleaner. Scouring milk can also be used for stubborn dirt. However, this should only be rubbed in carefully with little pressure using a soft cloth. Care should be taken not to scratch the surface. Painted brass surfaces can also be cleaned with a mild detergent or water and a soft cloth. Installation instructions
We would like to point out that all installation work on electrical installations must be carried out by a specialist. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.Scope of delivery
Fixing materials (plugs and screws) are included in the scope of delivery. A small amount of grease is also supplied, which should be used to pre-treat the screws during installation. The light source is not included in the scope of delivery. When selecting the light source, please observe the type and wattage specifications given on the label inside the luminaire.
