The front door is the calling card of the house! A stylish brass doorbell plate is a beautiful detail that enhances the entrance to the house. The TRIESTE doorbell has a simple, square design, making it suitable for universal use - from old buildings to modern detached houses in the Bauhaus style. The surrounding frame gives it a special touch.
We have the doorbell manufactured - how could it be otherwise - in a traditional small craft business in Italy. Different surface finishes, whether polished brass or dark patinated, chrome-plated or anthracite-coloured lacquered, give the doorbell plate a unique look.
The nameplate can be removed and individually engraved. If life circumstances change, matching brass nameplates are available as replacements.

The bell plate is made of solid brass and is manufactured in a small company in Florence. Its shape is simple and straightforward, while the curved edge frames the bell in a special way.
The TRIESTE bell plate is the smaller version of our MILANO multi-bell plate with speech grille.

Surface finishes
The bell plate is available in 5 different surfaces: - Brass polished, unlacquered - standard finish - will tarnish over time and become significantly darker
- Brass dark bronze patinated - matt, slightly irregular coloured surface
- Brass graphitised - anthracite lacquered, black-matt shimmering, iron-like
- Brass chrome-plated - high-gloss silver-coloured
- Brass PVD-coated - high-gloss gold-coloured, impact and scratch-resistant, no colour change
Engravings
We would ask you to have the nameplate engraved by an engraver on site. This will allow you to customise font types, font widths, etc. If you are looking for an engraver, a look at the BIV database of the Bundesverband der Galvaniseure, Graveure und Metallbildner can help you.

Care instructions
Brass is alive! Our standard version of the Italian bell plates is polished brass, unlacquered. In this design, the bell plate will darken slightly, becoming more irregular and more vibrant in colour. It develops its own patina and takes on an almost authentic appearance. If you wish, you can polish the plate from time to time. We recommend Nevr Dull® polishing pad for this purpose. Nickel-plated surfaces are sensitive to acids. Just like painted or patinated surfaces, they should only be cleaned with a mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth.
