Light switch with patina in a minimalist design
Patina - that means a lively, slightly irregular surface, as it has developed over time through use and wear.
If you are a lover of grown surfaces, but still prefer clear shapes and simple design, then you can set extraordinary accents with these switch plates made of unlacquered brass. Whether in a new build or a renovated old building - these switches never fail to make an impact!
This system is designed and produced by our Spanish manufacturer FONT DESIGN, whose products we distribute for Germany.

Material and surface
Brass is alive! The plates are made of solid unlacquered brass. Unlacquered brass tarnishes over time and will only become irregular in colour through use. When delivered, the plates and push buttons are softly polished and still have a uniform brass colour.
Pushbutton
The small, delicate pushbuttons are not switches but merely pushbuttons. They return to their original position after being pressed. A push-button is merely a pulse generator for a relay behind it, which opens or closes the circuit.
Lights can be switched from several locations using a push-button circuit.Base plates - customised configuration
The solid brass plates are available as single, double, triple and quadruple plates.
The base plates shown here are examples.
Depending on the desired inserts, these are configured accordingly and manufactured according to your specifications.
For this, we need the following information from you:
* Alignment - vertical or horizontal
* Specification of the desired inserts from left to right or from top to bottom
.Sockets and junction boxes
The sockets and junction boxes are made of black plastic. We supply the sockets as German Schuko sockets as standard.
If you require a different socket or additional junction boxes, simply enquire!VDE certification
All switches and sockets in this series comply with the standards required in Germany. They fulfil the strict VDE safety regulations.

Cleaning
If you want to preserve the patina, simply use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
If you want to brighten up the switches again, it is best to use a polishing pad (e.g. NevrDull). To avoid residues from the polishing agent and to be able to work carefully, it is advisable to remove the switch plate beforehand. Installation instructions
