One of the most important French Art Nouveau artists, Hector Guimard, designed these faceted Wall tiles. They have been a symbol of the Paris metro since its opening and their wide, faceted edges give the wall surface a three-dimensional design and structure. They are available in both rectangular and square formats. To achieve an attractive edge pattern when laying tiles in staggered rows, it is advisable to use a small square tile at the beginning of every second row. The Metro tiles in the large 10 x 20 cm format are particularly suitable for creating a structured design on larger wall surfaces.
