Bronze €€“ a material almost for eternity
Bronze, an alloy of copper and tin, is mostly known as material used for art casting, where it is one of the highest quality materials.
Bronze has excellent properties that are highly suitable for the production of lamps: The metal is extremely robust and resistant when cold, heated to about 700 °, it can be be excellently moulded and processed. Bronze is resistant to environmental influences and has a virtually unlimited longevity, even in outdoor areas. Above all, however: the natural patina of bronze lends the object its unobtrusive, timeless and yet unique character.
