General product information
Pendant lamps are the classic models among lamps - they are especially fancied in entrance areas, in high hallways and guest rooms. They are not only a light source but also a furniture and are perceived as a particularly room characterising design element.
Specific product information
Design and shape
Dome lights are not a reinvention of today, however - this lamp radiates a modern yet also traditional vibe at the same time:
Modern - because it takes effect solely by the shape and material and without any ornamentation
Traditional - because it takes effect through its unparalleled, irregular and slightly iridescent patina, like the eponymous "light and dark side of the moon"
Material and surfaces
The dome of this lamp is made of embossed sheet steel. The outside of the lamps corpus gets surface treated using a particular patinating procedure which gives it its aged appearance. Additional coating protects the surface.
The inside of the lamp is covered with metal foil, fixed with shellac. This gives the lamp its unique, radiant glow. The lamp is available in three different inside colours:
- bronze - very warm, slightly reddish light emission
- gold - warm and "cozy" perceived light emission
- Silver - bright, clear light emission
Hanging
The lamp is held with three stainless steel cables via a mounting cross on the lamp's dome. The steel cables have different lengths depending on the model (see scale drawings). Upon request this lamp can be delivered with longer cables at an extra charge.
Light distribution
The lamp emits light downwards. It distributes a soft and glare-free light.
Illuminants
The lamp has an E27 socket ans is suited for illuminants of energy efficiency classes A++ A+, A, B, C, D, E. Illuminants are not part of the scope of delivery. The lamp is dimmable with an external phase alignment / phase control dimmer with matching performance data.

This item will be shipped by truck, delivery costs Germany 65 € (+ possibly island surcharge), EU countries and non EU-countries: shipping costs on request.

Instructions for mounting and care
Please note that all installation work on electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrician. We cannot accept any liability for damages due to incorrect mounting.
The metal surfaces should only get cleaned with a soft cloth and under no circumstances with cleaning agents.
